This month my featured patron, Thomas Casey, got to choose the song I covered. He chose “Strange Relationship” and I was instantly anxious because I’m not very familiar with Prince. So I *literally* listened to this song on repeat for five days straight to get it jammed all the way into my head before I attempted to cover it. While I was getting ready for shows, while I was cleaning my house, but mostly while I was playing my “Merge Dragons” game, this song was my soundtrack. (Shout out to all my peeps out there who also like to merge some drags every now and then…)
